Born in Pennsylvania, Tory Burch now resides in New York City to oversee her successful business. Though she has a long history in fashion at Zoran, Harper's Bazaar, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang and Loewe, launching her own collection in 2004 with her NYC flagship store was her first pursuit into design. Quickly gaining popularity, Burch received the Rising Star Award for Best New Retail Concept. And most recently, she was honored with the Accessories Council Excellence Award for Accessory Brand Launch of the year.
Burch's lifestyle collection encompasses a broad spectrum of products including sportswear, accessories, coats, dresses, shoes and handbags. In addition to being influenced by her own life, her products are inspired by art, French film stars like Catherine Deneuve, and the 1960's and 70's, all creatively modernized with current fashion in mind. To round out the lifestyle, Burch also designs candles, towels and home accessories.
