THE LOOKBOOK THE DEFINITIVE DIRECTORY FOR THE FASHION INDUSTRY How is it possible to pull of bold accessories?

How does one find balance between using interesting accessories without looking like we put on our entire jewelry box? We turned to some of our favorite celebrity stylists to find out how.

Tip #1: Stick To One Major Piece
"I am all about statement accessories, but in moderation," says celebrity stylist, Rebecca Resnick, who works with Jamie Lynn Sigler. "I believe accessories can make -or just as easily-break a look. It's best to stick to one major piece that draws attention [like] a strong platform shoe, a bold necklace, or even a unique vintage evening bag."

How-To-At-Home: Jamie-Lynn juxtaposed her bold twisted-pearl choker with a classic black sheath dress, perfectly pairing nude platform pumps with her look.  For a similar look, try Kenneth Jay Lane's Vintage Five Strand Bib necklace and Judith Leiber's 'Garden Gates' Evening Bag.  For a more casual look grab Tory Burch's weekender bag!

Tip #2: Keep The Clothing Simple
"I always love searching for amazing pieces of jewelry....like necklaces, rings, or even  amazing earrings, " says celebrity stylist, Johnny Wujeck, who works with Katy Perry. [The key is to] make sure the outfit is simple and clean, so that the beautiful accessories can shine."

How-To-At-Home: Take a note from Katy and keep the accessories in the same color family. The singer mixed pink hoop earrings with a graphic cuff and a gold spiked bangle. To mimic Katy's bold style, try Hermes' Millefiori Silver Bangles (set of 2) and Charriol's 'Colvmbvs' Square Bangle, add in Juicy Couture's Key & Shell 'Marion D' Hobo Handbag and Marc Jacobs Cat Eye Sunglasses for good measure.

Tip #3: Use One Color
"I like using one hue," says celebrity stylist, Shane Cisneros, who work with Scoundrels star, Leven Rambin. "Sometimes a classic dress needs a bit of sparkle and the easiest way to create impact is with daring accessories."

How-To-At-Home: Leven wore a classic little black dress but jazzed up her look with purple accessories with sheen. Build that look for yourself with Chanel's Mixes Blues Charm Necklace, paired with Kenneth Jay Lane's Sapphire Clip Earrings. Adding Louis Vuitton's Alma MM Handbag will add extra panache to your look.

Tip #4: Pile It On
"I believe more is more," says celebrity stylist, Laura Duncan, who works with Kelly Rowland.  "Don't worry about overwhelming the look-add to it!"

How-To-At-Home: Kelly kept her ethnic vibe going with a stack of gold and fabric wrapped bangles, plus created more visual interest with extra large gold hammered earrings. Take the stacking trend to the next level with Tiffany & Co.'s 'Notes' Cuff Bracelet, paired with Lori Bonn's Gemstone & Wood Bangle. Add additional accents such as Tom Ford's 'Whitney' Sunglasses and Alexis Bittar's Hermitage Crystal Tearstained Earrings, finishing off the look with Burberry's Leather Hobo With Spikes Handbag.
