This iconic Hermes style was first created in 1935 under the name Sac a depeches. In 1956, Grace Kelly was photographed carrying this Hermes bag to conceal her pregnancy. It was shortly thereafter christened the Kelly. This specific Hermes Kelly is crafted from embossed Epsom leather in the Rouge Casaque color with palladium-plated hardware. In the Retourne style, it is outlined by thin piping along the edges. Details include a flat handle, detachable shoulder strap, and belted closure. The interior is fully lined with two open pockets and one zippered pocket. Made in 2006. Stamped [ J ].
