It's amazing what you can do with a pair of scissors, a bag of T-shirts and $200! But that's all Juicy Couture co-founder Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor had when they set out to make the kind of clothing they wanted but couldn't find anywhere: fashionable basics that were girly, flattering and sexy.

The year was 1996 and according to the founders, "We intended to make sexy basics for our friends as presents." But clearly these two weren't the only ones looking for a blend of casual attire and glamorous flair. When they launched their signature velour tracksuits, Juicy fever spiked!

As one of the first luxury brands to focus on comfort and athletics, Juicy look became a hit among celebrities. Among the fans, Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Moss, Amanda Peet, Liv Tyler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Rene Zellweiger.

"Juicy Couture has completely revolutionized fashion," says Skaist-Levy. And the brand's sense of whimsy and fashion-forward design continues to take Juicy in exciting directions - now including clothing for women, men and children, jewelry, accessories (and even products for your dog!).
