As a fashion photographer in New York City, Monica Botkier found herself needing a roomy, highly functional bag that was chic and stylish enough to stand up to the industry's scrutinizing eye. When she couldn't find it, she created it herself, and in 2003 the Botkier Trigger bag was born.

Drawing inspiration from the fast-paced, style-driven lifestyle of Manhattan women, Botkier crafts its distinctive bags from supple leathers and custom-crafted hardware. The result - clean, classic, yet incredibly sexy bags.

In 2006, Botkier introduced its next "It" bag, the Bianca - a bag that stays true to Monica's quest for the ideal accessory. Botkier's forever-chic style continues to draw a devoted fan base around the world, including Jessica Alba, Lindsay Lohan, Alicia Keys, Joy Bryant and Zooey Deschanel.
